Sustainability Management Systems

Overview

AuRico has developed an integrated Corporate Sustainability Management System Framework based on the following international standards, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System along with ISO 26000:2010: Guidance on Social Responsibility and the Global Reporting Initiative – Sustainability reporting guidelines (Version 3.1)

The purpose of this framework is to provide a consistent approach to sustainability management at our operations along with a performance standardfor the management of Health & Safety, Environment, and Corporate Social Responsibility.

The Sustainability Management System (SMS) Framework was designed with the principle of continuous improvement in mind and incorporates the Plan-Do-Check-Act methodology.
